Alesha Davis, loving daughter, spouse, and mother passed away at home, surrounded by her family on February 12, 2026, in Magna, Utah due to breast cancer.
Alesha was born on September 25, 1966, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marva Beth (Marchant) Davis and Roger William Davis and started out living in Magna, but not for long. Because of Roger’s work for the Federal Aviation Administration the family moved. Alesha lived for several years in Wells, Nevada when she was very young. After another work transfer for Roger, Alesha then lived (and grew up) in Cortez, Colorado. Her family moved from Cortez, Colorado to Taylorsville, Utah in 1981. Alesha graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1984 and attended the University of Utah. While attending the U, Alesha met, and later married Greg Schulz on November 24, 1988 – Thanksgiving Day. Alesha and Greg were married for 37 years and had two children, Steven Michael Schulz and Laura Elizabeth Schulz. Alesha and Greg moved their family to Magna, Utah in 1996.
Alesha worked for over 20 years for Unisys Corporation as a Technical Support Manager. She loved her job because it allowed her to use (and get to use) really cool computer tech, work with fun people who loved tech, and get paid to do it. She loved her “Unisys Family’ and they loved her, too. During their remote team meetings, it was common for her team to try to make her laugh. They frequently succeeded.
In her hometown of Magna, for several years Alesha volunteered on the Magna 4th of July Parade Committee. She also served on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Salt Lake. Alesha and Greg were also a regular host family that supported the Magna-Yuzawa Educational and Cultural Exchange.
Alesha’s passions were all about technology. Automating the house lighting, digital photography, 3D printing – it did not matter what it was. If it was using tech, she was going to make (or do) something cool with it. That passion cross-pollinated to her job. When it came time to decorate her work’s call center for the seasons and holidays. Alesha ran home and printed the decorations because…tech.
Alesha is survived by her parents Roger and Marva, her brothers Clay and Eric, spouse Greg, and children Steven and Laura. Alesha was preceded in death by her brother Bret and sister Denise.
The graveside service for Alesha will be held on February 19th, 2026, 11:00AM at Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery located at 10055 South State Street in Sandy, Utah.
A Celebration of Life for Alesha will be held at a later date. Details will be sent later.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society in Alesha’s name.
