Alessandra Adel Bartucca

Alessandra Adel Bartucca, born on July 8, 2024, weighing 8lb 8oz and 20.5" long, cherished daughter of Gionfranco and Macayla A. (Landi) Bartucca of Greenville, was called to heaven on Wednesday July 10, 2024. She passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents.
Alessandra was the sister of Gionfranco D. Bartucca; maternal granddaughter of Kevin and Nancy Orabona of Smithfield, RI; paternal granddaughter of Pasquale and Giovanna Bartucca of Norwood, MA; paternal great-granddaughter of Giovanni and Caterina Pellegrino of Calabria, Italy. She is also survived by her uncle Vincenzo Bartucca and his wife Kara of Canton, MA, aunt Laura Bartucca (Niko) of Melbourne, AUS, and her large extended family throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Calabria, Italy.
During her three short days here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by her family. Alessandra experienced hugs and kisses from her mommy and daddy, holding her brother's hand, snuggles from her family, listening as mommy and daddy sang "My Girl," and being told "I love you" endlessly. Unconditional love is all she ever knew. Alessandra is deeply loved by her parents, big brother Gio, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, godparents, cousins, and many others. Alessandra will always remain her mom and dad's precious baby girl and Gio's baby sister. They will hold her again in Heaven one day. Il nostro piccolo tesoro.
The family would like to thank the NICU staff at Women & Infants Hospital for the unbelievable care they provided for Alessandra, with a special thank you to Rich, Nicole, Meg, Kristy, Dr. Maron, Dr. Hoffman and Ali. The family would also like to thank the Women & Infants Labor and Delivery staff and Lifespan Midwifery/OBGYN group for the tender care and support provided to Macayla and Gio, especially Dr. Randall, Camille, Nicole, Megan, Grace, Dr. Dyer and Justine. A very special thank you to Bellwether Doulas, Rachelle and Hailey, whose unconditional love and strong shoulders for the Bartucca family will forever be appreciated. Profound thanks to Father Richard, who baptized Alessandra on the day of her birth.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday July 20, 2024 at 10am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI. Burial will be private.
