Aletha Good Obituary
Despite a lifelong struggle with Type 1 Diabetes from the age of 8, Aletha faced each day with resilience and grace.
Aletha was a proud alumna of Lander University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree, and the University of South Carolina, where she completed her Master's degree. Her love for education and art led her to a career as an elementary school art teacher for 28 years within the South Carolina School Systems. Aletha's passion for art, especially painting, was evident in her teaching and her personal life, where she inspired countless young minds to explore their creativity. She loved all children, though she never had any of her own.
Aletha is survived by her devoted husband of 16 years, Michael Good, her loving mother Mignon, and her brother, Spencer Beard, Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Bryan Spencer Beard, Sr., and her sister, Amy Beard.
In accordance with her wishes, Aletha will be cremated, and no services will be held.
