It is with a saddened heart to announce the passing of Alex Christian Boyd who went to be with Jesus on March 5, 2026 at the age of 29.
Alex was born August 14, 1996, to Scott and Angela Boyd in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Alex brought laughter into the lives of each of us that knew him. His laughter was contagious and had the capability of changing the atmosphere of any room. Alex is a beloved son to Scott & Sheridan Boyd and Shane & Angela Estus. He shares many roles and titles such as grandson, future husband to Lacey Bowman and father to her children, big brother to Emily Hastings and November Boyd. Since 2012 he was blessed to become a stepbrother to Leslie, Mathew, Clayton, and Gabe and loved each of their families. He was an uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. His favorite name to be called was Child of God and he wore that title proudly and loved talking to others about the love of Jesus. Alex enjoyed eating, discovering new music, bowling and having family gatherings to eat, play games or just hangout. He mastered the art of saying "You want to go eat somewhere?" followed up with "By the way, I'm broke can you pay?" In 2013 he was involved in an auto accident that resulted in a right below knee amputation and halted his education at Deer Creek High School shortly after his senior year. Since that accident, he struggled with physical, emotional and spiritual wholeness until he and the family were invited to a local ministry called Beautiful Restoration. He then began his healing journey. He learned to release his hurt from the past and keep his focus on Jesus by reading and studying the Bible. He learned to use the Word of God and apply it to his life. He re-dedicated his life to Jesus and got baptised again in 2019. He quickly fell in love with worship music and each time at Bible study, he said "I have a song request!!", Alex will be missed by many but will continue to live on in our hearts and memories.
