Alex Martinez of Atascosa, Texas passed away at the age of 86.
Alex LOVED the Dallas Cowboys and worked in nursing for 25+ years. He was a dedicated employee, and was often awarded for Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year. Luby's was his favorite! Alex also loved to sing and could often be heard singing one of his favorites, Adelita! He also loved to go shopping at the fancy shops.
He took the best, loving care of his Momma for 20 years before her passing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hilario and Adela Aguello Martinez; siblings, Hilario Jr, Gilberto, Antonio, Isabel, Concepcion, Jesus, Eusebio, Gloria, Dominga, and Emma.
He is survived by his sisters Elidia, Eva, and Hilaria; and adopted brother, Ralph. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in his honor at St. Andrew's Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. A public viewing will be held from 9:00am to 9:30am, Rosary will follow at 9:30am, then Mass to be celebrated directly afterwards. Interment will follow in San Lorenzo Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Primrose Funeral Services of Lytle, Texas.
