Primrose Funeral Services - LytleJo Ann Martin, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 78 on August 22, 2025. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jo Ann carried with her a warm spirit and quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Harshaw and Mary Allen, her devoted husband, Jack Martin and cherished grandson, Clay Crain Jr. Though their absence weighed heavily on heart, Jo Ann's love for her family and the life she built remained steadfast.
She is survived by her children, Jack Martin Jr, Susan Fassnidge (Tom), and Tracie Brysch, her grandchildren, Ashley Crain, Ryan Martin, Dustin Brysch, Kortney Brysch, Morgan Brysch, and Mikey Adcock, and 7 great grandchildren, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Jo Ann's greatest joy was found in her family, and the love she gave them will continue to guide and comfort them for years to come.
Jo Ann was a woman of many passions. She was an avid reader, who found fascination in true crime stories and she expressed her creativity through painting, sewing and other arts. Her hands were rarely still, always creating beauty for those around her.
Jo Ann met and married the love of her life, Jack Martin at a young age and remained a loving wife until his death. She was a loving and supportive mother. Jo Ann was always very proud of each of her children and grandchildren. We will miss her great cooking and banana split cakes.
Those who knew Jo Ann will remember her kindness, her sharp wit, and her ability to find joy in life's simple moments. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and resilience.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the laughter of her family, the beauty of her art, and the countless lives she touched.
