On August 10th, 2024, We lost our dearest Brother, Alex Benjamin Morais. We all powerfully love and cherish him. Alex was our greatest friend, our biggest role model and the best brother our family and friends could ever ask for. His vast creativity and talents include, silly and oh so accurate drawing, exquisitely entertaining comedian, hardcore cinephile, the finest karaoke singing you will ever hear, well-versed music enthusiast, prolific clothes and shoe-horse, relentless vegan, mystic, hiker, traveler, collector of peculiar delights and most of all, fiercely loving friend. He has the most impeccable work ethic and it shows in his more than 18 years as a Slot Technician and supervisor. His happy places are Joshua Tree and Disneyland, among others never to be the same without him. He never forgot his first and most beloved home, Chula Vista, CA. His heart will also always remain there.
Alex is survived by his mother, father, brother, sister, cousins, whom he loved as brothers, aunts and uncles who were more like parents, his soulmate mate, and countless friends who are family to him. Alex touched all of our lives in so many ways. No matter what everyone was going through Alex was there to the rescue. Alex was the light and the life of the party and lived every day to the fullest. He taught us all to be the best person we could possibly be, to always stay true to ourselves and to always love hard. Alex will be profoundly missed by all of us and will greatly be remembered as our greatest champion. Thank you all so much. Rest in Power Alex. We'll always love you, Baby.
