Alex is survived by his mother; Maribel (David Barrera) Rodriguez of Round Lake Park, his grandmother; Maura Rodriguez of Mundelein, his sons; Emilio Alexander Fernandez & Lorenzo Fernandez, his sister; Stephanie Fernandez of Mundelein, brothers; Gabriel Fernandez of Round Lake, David Barrera of Ingleside, and Daniel Barrera of Round Lake Park, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Proceeded in death by his grandfather Sabino Rodriguez, and his infant nephew: Yandel Fernandez,
A visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030, and Friday morning July 18, 11:00 AM to 12 Noon at Symonds Lakes Funeral Home, Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, the Santa Maria Del Polopo Catholic Church 40 N. Seymour Ave, Mundelein IL 60060, Interment to follow at the Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. For additional information please contact the funeral home at 847-543-1080
