Alexander Gilchrist Obituary

Keith passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in Aurora Colorado. He was 88 years old, Keith was born March 14, 1934, to the late Mary and Fred Gilchrist, in Wellsburg, West Virginia.
Keith married the love of his life, Patricia Combs, also from Wellsburg, West Virginia, on June 3, 1958. He also graduated from Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1958. Keith served 20 years in the Army as a Podiatrist and left as Lieutenant Colonel at Fitzsimons Hospital in Aurora, Colorado, as Chief of Podiatry. He then started a 17 year private practice in Aurora before retiring.
Keith now is joining Pat in heaven, but is survived by his daughters Mary Lynn Gilchrist-Weir (Jack), Centennial, CO; Elizabeth Ann Apt (Richard), Aurora, CO; Karen Sue Gilchrist, Aurora, CO; and grandchildren, Alexandra, Andrew, David, Delaney (Nick), and Darcy. As well as numerous living relatives and friends.
Keith will be laid to rest at Fort Logan Cemetery on April 21, 2022 at 2pm and a Celebration of Keith's Life will be held at Horan & McConaty on April 22, 2022 at 1pm, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, Colorado 80014.
Donations may be made to the Parkinson's Association of Colorado, in Keith's name.
