Alexander (Alex) Golob, 56, went home to be with the Lord on June 7th, 2024 at 2pm. Born September 26th, 1967 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, son of Nikolay Golob and Domnika Golob. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Alexander leaves behind his wife, Yanina Golob, his sons Roman, David, and Emmanuel, his daughter, Julia, as well as his son-in-law, David and daughters-in-law, Jenna and Emily. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Josephine and Elliot. After finishing school at the age of 16, Alexander graduated from college as a shoemaker in 1986. Shortly after, he served two years in the army in Lviv. Upon coming home from the army, he met his wife Yanina and had their first-born son, Roman. In 1990, Alexander and his family moved to Israel and opened their own grocery store. After several years, they moved to Canada where they had their other two sons, David and Emmanuel. Together as a family, they came to the United States and had their daughter, Julia. Alexander was a supervisor at Old Colony Envelope in Westfield for many many years along with completing Heating and Air Conditioning school. Alexander was a talented and multi-skilled man. He enjoyed fishing, visiting the shooting range, fixing what needed to be revised at home, but above all, he loved spending time with his family. Alexander was always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him and did so with a smile on his face. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 50. After struggling with this disease for six years he devastatingly passed from a heart attack. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
