Alexander Kelly
08/04/1938 - 09/23/25
Alexander John "Al" Kelly passed away peacefully after attending a music function at Otterbein of Perrysburg. Al was born in Toledo to Edward and Margret Kelly. He married Suzanne (Kruzel) Kelly. He attended Central Catholic High School and then served in the Army. He joined his father and brothers in the family construction business and later worked for City of Toledo in construction inspection. He enjoyed raising his family on Pilliod Rd and being involved with St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Al was a huge fan of Ohio State Buckeyes, Tigers and Mud Hens. You could always count on him to know what was going on with each team during the season. He loved talking to people and would leave you a voice mail if you did not pick up. Al was proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed seeing family and friends at Irish gatherings.
Al was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne; daughter, Maureen Rufty; son, Mark; brother, Ed; sisters, Mary Flahie and Irene Kelly (Sr. Brigid, SND). He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Kelly; grandchildren, Cory and Corvian Kelly, Megan and Brendan Rufty; and brother, Mike. Our family would like to thank the caregivers at Otterbein of Perrysburg who lovingly cared for Al the last several years.
