Alexander Frey Mello, born on March 14, 1939, in Brooklyn, passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 85 in Hackensack, New Jersey. Alexander, a devoted son to Anthony and Charlotte (Flugmacher) Mello, was a beloved brother to Dorothy Bonner. He is survived by his sister, nephews Billy Bonner, TJ Bonner, and Steven Brodowski, who will miss him dearly.
Alexander had a fulfilling career, beginning with his service in the Air Force in Texas, where he also joined the Texas Masonic Lodge. His professional journey continued at TWA Laguardia Airport, where he dedicated many years to customer service, earning the respect and admiration of both colleagues and travelers alike.
Beyond his professional life, Alexander had a passion for building and renovating his home. He found joy in working on model trains, a hobby that reflected his meticulous and patient nature. Known for his quiet and independent demeanor, Alexander was also a lot of fun to be around and loved traveling, especially to Europe, which always invigorated his spirit.
