ALEXANDER JAMES PAPESH, age 20, of Garfield Heights passed away on July 23, 2024. Beloved son of Marlene Buynak; loving brother of Kaitlyn and Nicholas Papesh; dearest grandson of Robert and Geraldine (deceased) Buynak, and Robert (deceased) and Josephine Papesh; dear nephew to many aunts and uncles; a friend to many, and their families, and many more who loved him. Alex was a 2022 graduate of Benedictine High School. He was kind, funny, athletic, smart, hard-working, and so much more. He was a best friend to many, holding a very special place in all their families. Most of all, he loved his brother, sister, and mother with all his heart. Alex, your presence we miss greatly, your memory we treasure, loving you always, and forgetting never. Friends and family received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY AVE, BEDFORD (ONE MILE WEST OF THE FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT OF I-271), TUESDAY, JULY 30 FROM 3 P.M. – 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew Abbey, Benedictine Order of Cleveland, 2900 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44104 on Wednesday, July 31 at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, OH. The family is requesting that friends and family wear Alex’s favorite colors, black and red, to the services.
