Alexandria Efferson was born in Houston, Texas, to Frank and Gloria Guerrero on April 26, 1987, and entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2025, at the age of 38.
Alexandria attended and graduated from Westside High School in 2005, where she excelled as a multi-sport athlete, playing basketball, varsity softball, and elite varsity volleyball. Her dedication and talent on the court earned her a volleyball scholarship to Tarleton State University, where she continued to pursue her education.
While attending Tarleton State University, Alexandria was honored to be selected for the Homecoming Court in the fall of 2008. She was an active member of the Search Advisory Committee for the position of President of Tarleton State University. Alex was also accepted into the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, where she developed lasting bonds of sisterhood. Alexandria cherished these friendships and remained close with her sorority sisters throughout her life.
After graduating from Tarleton, Alexandria began her career as a waitress at Bonnie's Steakhouse. In less than a year, she was offered and accepted a position with Conco Services LLC, where she became the company's first and original inside sales representative. Her winning personality and strong work ethic quickly led to advancement within the company, and she ultimately earned the title of Senior Account Manager. Throughout her career, Alexandria was a dedicated team player who readily shared her knowledge and encouraged others to learn and grow in their own careers.
Alexandria enjoyed attending her favorite sporting events, dancing and spending quality time with her family. She loved playing recreational volleyball and cherished the time she spent golfing with her father - moments that were especially meaningful to her. Above all, Alexandria was a devoted and passionate mother, whose greatest joy came from caring for and creating memories with her children.
Alexandria is survived by her parents, Frank and Gloria Guerrero; her siblings, Candace Guerrero Barrientos and her husband, Luis, and Frank Guerrero Jr. and his wife, Jannette; and her three beloved sons, Clayton, Weston, and Lane Efferson. And a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Gloria Ana Maria Guerrero Mayse.
She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared so freely with everyone who knew her.
