Alexis Panama, de 14 años, de Ortonville, Minnesota, falleció el jueves 10 de abril de 2025 en Ortonville Area Health Services, en Ortonville, MN.

Los servicios fúnebres llevarán a cabo el lunes 14 de abril de 2025 a las 3:00 p.m. en el gimnasio de la Escuela Secundaria de Orontville, en Ortonville, Minnesota. La visita de familiares y amigos se realizará el domingo 13 de abril de 2025, desde las 5:00 p.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Mundwiler en Milbank, Dakota del Sur, y será seguida por un servicio de oración a las 7:00 p.m. La visita continuará una hora antes del servicio, el lunes, en el gimnasio de Ortonville.

Alexis Panama nació el 25 de agosto de 2010 en Milbank, Dakota del Sur, hijo de Jose Panama y Liliana Temaxte. Fue bautizado en la Iglesia El Buen Pastor de Milbank en el verano del 2024.

Alexis asistió a la escuela en Ortonville, donde participó en diversas actividades. Jugó fútbol americano y estaba emocionado por comenzar su segunda temporada de béisbol. Era un orgulloso miembro de la banda escolar de Ortonville, siempre contagiaba su energía y entusiasmo a quienes lo rodeaban.

Más que nada, Alexis valoraba los momentos con sus amigos. Le encantaba andar en su motoneta por el pueblo y visitar la piscina de Ortonville durante el verano. Extrovertido y amigable, hacía amistades con facilidad y dejaba una huella en todos los que lo conocían.

Alexis fue profundamente amado por su familia y su comunidad. Su espíritu alegre, su bondad y su amor por la vida tocaron muchos corazones.

Siempre será recordado con amor y extrañado profundamente por sus padres: Jose Antonio Panama y Liliana Temaxte de Ortonville, MN; su hermano Sibrain Panama de Ortonville, MN; y su familia querida de Ortonville, MN y México. Le precedieron en muerte su abuela Aurenia Uscanga y su abuelo Jose Panama.



Alexis Panama, 14, of Ortonville, MN, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Ortonville Area Health Services in Ortonville.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ortonville High School Gymnasium in Ortonville, MN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank, SD, and will be followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the Ortonville Gymnasium on Monday. 

The service will be livestreamed and recorded and will be viewable at the bottom of this page.

Alexis Panama was born on August 25, 2010, in Milbank, South Dakota, to Jose Panama and Liliana Temaxte. He was baptized at El Buen Pastor Church in Milbank in the summer of 2024.

Alexis attended school in Ortonville, where he was involved in various activities. He played football and was excited to begin his second season of baseball. A proud member of the Ortonville school band, he brought energy and enthusiasm wherever he went.

More than anything, Alexis cherished spending time with his friends. He loved riding his moped around town and visiting the Ortonville swimming pool in the summer. Outgoing and friendly, he made connections easily and left a lasting impression on those who met him.

Alexis was deeply loved by his family and community. His joyful spirit, kindness, and love for life touched many.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his parents: Jose Antonio Panama and Liliana Temaxte of Ortonville, MN; brother, Sibrain Panama of Ortonville, MN; and his beloved family in Ortonville, MN and Mexico. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Aurenia Uscanga and grandfather, Jose Panama.
