Alexis Sample Obituary
She was born on November 2, 2000, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William Sample and Tiffany Kasten.
Alexis joined her life journey independently and departed in the same manner. She was the guiding light and glue that held her family together.
Loving survivors include her mother, Tiffany Kasten of Perryville; father, William Sample of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Christian Sample of Perryville; two sisters, Serenity and Savannah Sample of Perryville; maternal grandfather, Douglas Kasten of Jackson; maternal grandmother, Ivyline Luttrell and maternal step-grandfather, Gary Luttrell of St. Louis; paternal grandfather, Tony Sample of Jackson; and maternal great grandmother, Ruby Kasten of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Brenda Sample; maternal great grandparents, Cornelia and Robert Ernst, maternal great grandfather, Merlin Kasten, and paternal great grandmother, Francis Patterson.
The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The memorial service will be at noon on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bryan Wendling officiating.
Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
The family suggests that contributions be made to Ronald McDonald House.
