Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kenneth W. Poe Funeral & Cremation Service - Charlotte on Jan. 23, 2026.
CHARLOTTE – Nathaniel (Nate) Louis Meyer passed away, surrounded by family, on Monday, January 19, 2026, in
Charlotte, NC. He battled cancer with the same strength, courage, humor, and optimism that were his signature traits. (Not everyone could joke about the beautiful shape of their head following chemo-induced hair loss!)
Nate was born in Perry County, MO on July 8, 1979, the oldest of four. He attended Southeast Missouri State University, then earned his MBA from the University of San Francisco, where he had the honor of delivering the commencement speech. His wife, Angela, was by his side for this achievement and many more during their twenty-four years of marriage. During this time, they were blessed with two children whom Nate adored. He made sure to have special time with each of them and cherished their talks together. He also loved seeing them develop their talents, helping them grow however he could, including offering his expert coaching skills.
Nate took this same care with his colleagues at TCP Analytical and thrived on creating growth opportunities for so many members on his team. And though he held the title of President, no job was ever beneath him-he'd help where needed and made sure to connect with everyone on a first-name basis.
Nate attended St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Charlotte and loved to hit the road on his bicycle or spend some quiet moments fishing. And no matter where he lived in the country or how many times, they broke his heart, his undying support was reserved for the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues.
He was a force for good in this world, and his loved ones will continue to carry forward his light.
Nate is survived by his wife, Angela (Wodraska); daughter, Charlotte (15); son, Sam (13); parents, Ronald and Sharee (Moll) Meyer; brother, Michael; sisters, Angela Ettling and Elissa Chausse; dog Kona, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
