1 Lt. ALEXIS MARIE VEGA, age 25, of Cleveland, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 6, 2025. Loving Daughter of Richard Vega and Rebecca Brumfield; beloved Sister of Hannah Grobelch (Matthew) and Marissa Vega; devoted Aunt of Vincent and Aviana Grobelch; dog mom of Kira; niece, cousin, mentor and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, the Vega family requests that donations be made to the Long Live Vega scholarship fund, to be awarded to selected Garrett Morgan High School seniors, where Alexis was a teacher. Donations can be made online using Venmo (@LongLiveVega) or in person at the calling hours. Services at the funeral home Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 10 a.m. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2025 FROM 1-8 P.M.
