Stefania Kolodka Terkala passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the age of 98.
Stefanie was the beloved wife of the late Josef Terkala and the late Peter Kolodka. She was the cherished mother of Mary Kmiotek (Jaroslaw) and Joseph Kolodka (Holly). She was the cherished Babcha to Larissa, Stefanie (deceased), Kristen (Mason), Katie (Nate), and Nicole (Rob). She was blessed to have two great grandchildren, Charlotte and Alexis. She was the much loved aunt to Irene and Bob Bycko and Peter Lapiejko and their families.
In her life of nearly a century, she witnessed many of life's changes and challenges always meeting them with strength, resilience and faith in God. She lived a life of devotion and dedication to her family, church and community. Her values and legacies will live on in those who she loved and in those who loved her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4 PM - 8 PM (Parastas 7 PM) at Kozij-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Funeral Liturgy on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral 5720 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Interment St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Stefania to St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral or Cleveland Maidan Association.
