Alfonso Garcia Chavez, 55, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, in Arlington, Texas. Born on April 26, 1970, in Mexico, Alfonso lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Olga Reyes, and his cherished daughter, Maria Fernanda Garcia Reyes. Alfonso also leaves behind his brothers Alfredo, Francisco, Abelardo, Anselmo, Reyes Garcia Chavez, Pablo Garcia Chavez and Adrian Garcia Chavez; and his sisters Manuela, Patricia Garcia Chavez,. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Garcia Serna and Maria del Pilar Chavez Diaz, as well as his grandparents.
Alfonso found joy in the simple pleasures of life-working outdoors on his home and yard, caring for his animals including chickens, cows, and nine cats, and savoring the warmth of a home-cooked meal lovingly prepared by Olga. He was a passionate baseball fan, a lover of Nortena music, and never missed a chance to dance and embrace the moment.
On July 4, 2006, Alfonso made Olga his forever love, a bond that remained strong and beautiful throughout their years together.

Nacido el 26 de abril de 1970 en México, Alfonso vivió una vida llena de amor, risas y devoción a la familia. Le sobreviven su amada esposa de 19 años, Olga Reyes, y su querida hija, María Fernanda García Reyes. Alfonso también deja atrás a sus hermanos Alfredo, Francisco, Abelardo, Anselmo,Reyes Garcia Chavez, Pablo Garcia Chavez y Adrián García Chávez; y sus hermanas Manuela, Patricia Garcia Chavez, Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Manuel García Serna y María del Pilar Chávez Díaz, así como sus abuelos.
