I literally heard of your transition after your Celebration of Life was over. I had no idea that you fell asleep. What shocking news to receive! I was at a loss of words for many reasons.
You will always have your title as "My Big Cousin with 2 first names". Each time I saw you, I greeted you the same: " It's Alfred Charles~ My Big Cousin with not one, but two 1st names". You would smile/laugh, hug me, then say "you always call me that". Your mannerism was so similar to my Grand Father's mannerism. Perhaps that's what drew me towards you. Rest in Jesus' arms until we meet again.
My prayers and thoughts are with the immediate family. May God comfort your hearts and give you peace. Had I known about his passing sooner, I would have been present.
With Sympathy,
~Shawnika ( Leroy's Grand daughter)
