Alfred C. Jasset, age 93 of West Yarmouth, formerly of West Newton, passed away on August 28th, surrounded by his family.
Al was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Theresa (Costanzo) Jasset also by his wife Josephine (Cabozzi) Jasset and his three brothers Ernest, Joseph, John and his grandsons Peter and Justin.

Al was a retired salesman man for McKesson and Robbins where he worked until his retirement. Al was also a very active member of the Knights of Columbus Newton Council #167 where he held many offices and later served at the state level as a district deputy and was very proud to have served and accomplished his duties.
Al also loved to travel and with his many friends he met through the years visited many islands and had lots of fun. Later in life Al decided he had enough of cold snowy winters and decided to buy a winter home in Valrico, Florida where he and Josephine made more great friends and memories. Al continued to go to Florida even when he lost Josephine and continued until this past winter.

The one thing that Al was most proud of was his family. He never missed an event was always willing to attend and help. He never missed a birthday or any other celebration. He will be deeply missed by all, especially his children whom he cherished having around: his sons Michael and wife (Janice), Stephen and wife (Donna), David and wife (Linda), his daughter Ann Marie and her husband (Michael), and sons Thomas, Daniel, and John. He was also blessed with 15 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren who he loved unconditionally.

Visitation in rear of Our Lady's Church, 573 Washington St, Newton on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 9:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. After Mass, Al will be buried at Newton Cemetery. Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
