Alfred Lara Obituary
Alfred Lara, 58 years of age, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at home surrounded by his family after a prolonged illness.
Alfred was born July 11, 1966, in Los Angeles, California to Alvino Fernando Lara Sr and Rosa Maria Padilla. He was the 2nd of 3 children.
Alfred was known for his artistic talent, creativity, kind heart, and service to his family and friends. His works of art will be greatly treasured. He was always the life of the party and brought a smile to all. He was a member of Little Flower Church for over 20 years and an active member of the ACTS community. In his lifetime he made an impression on all the people he met. He is survived by his wife Blanca, his daughters, Kathryn and Elizabeth Lara, his grandchildren Sophia and Ezekiel, and his siblings Alvino F Lara Jr and Amber Dawn. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Amelia and Benjamin Padilla, Ignacia and Hijinio Lara, and his parents Alvino Fernando and Rosa Maria.
We take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and has joined his family in heaven.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Little Flower Catholic Church, 171 Polo Inn.
