Alfred Lee Mann, Jr., 85, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his home surrounded by family.
Born on July 2, 1939, in Clinton, NC, Alfred was the son of the late Alfred and Francina Mann. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughters, Patricia Mann and Sandra Mann; grandsons, Joshua Mann and Matthew Phelps; and sisters, Doris Smith and Helen Eymer.
Alfred attended Lillington High School before entering the United States Marine Corp where he served 13 years. He went on to work and retire after 30 years from Kelly Springfield (Good Year).
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Beatrice Fay Mann; son, Charles Mann & wife Deddie; daughters, Pamela K. Daum, Audrey Underwood and Elizabeth Vernon & husband Greg; step daughter, Angela Allison & husband Jacob; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Garland Mann; and a host of other family members.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
