William Martin Wood (Bill), 64, of Winterville, NC, died Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Service League of Greenville Hospice Center.
Born in Cumberland County, NC, Bill was the son of the late Judson Wood and Charlotte Ellis Wood.
He is survived by his sisters, Ellis Wood of Sugar Land, TX and Emily Nadeau and husband Dennis Nadeau of Langdon, ND.
Bill was a graduate of Appalachian State University. After graduating, he spent his career working for the state of North Carolina in accounting.
Bill had many hobbies, but was known and loved for his handy man skills. He applied those skills by always helping friends and neighbors. He was fondly known by each person as “my handy man”. Each one claiming him as their own!
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
