Drusilla Lee Wood of Clarksville, IN went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec 5, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan 18, 1936 to the late Zelbert Denzel King and Virginia (Staninger) King. Drusilla married Merle Edward Wood from Tennessee in 1965. She is predeceased by her parents, as well as her husband, Merle "Woody" Wood; brother, Zelbert Denzel "Bud" King ll; sister, Alma Fern Cooksey; son-in-law, Douglas Eugene Hardin, and a son, Stephen Matthew Wood.

Drusilla spent her younger years in Ethel, Indiana and later attended New Albany High School. She raised her family, her whole world, with a large garden and a strong faith in God.

She is survived by three brothers: James King of Paoli IN, Gary King of Paoli IN, and Eric (Leigh) King of Clarksville IN; daughter, Debbie Yates of Bonifay FL; son, Roger Dale Wood of Clearwater FL; daughter, Betty Jean Hardin of Charlestown IN; son, Phillip (Kristina) Wood of Mauckport IN; son, Jonathan (Joanna) Wood of Clarksville IN; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Drusilla was a proud member of Faith Assembly Church. She lived a full life, was deeply loved and will be missed by her family and church family.

Her friends and family will be remembering her and celebrating her life 5 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville), officiated by Bro. James Allen of Faith Assembly Church. Visitation will be from 2pm until service time Monday evening. A private interment will be held at a later date in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Coleton Wood, Brian Wood, Kevin Ross, Tyler Boren, Phillip Wood & Jonathan Wood.

As an expression of sympathy, monetary donations can be made directly to Faith Assembly Church.
