Alfred William Moore, 82, of Woodbridge, passed away on November 21, 2021.
Alfred W. Moore was born in Washington, DC to Arthur and Bessie Moore on July 7, 1939. He went to school at Bell Vocational High. He married Sharon Ann Ford on May 27, 1961, in Landover, Maryland. He worked as a Meter Repairman and Shop Foreman for Washington Gas Light Company for over 25 years. He was a veteran of Bay of Pigs and served in the Navy. He was involved in the Salvation Army Corp, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and an honorary member of the Occoquan Woodbridge Lorton Volunteer Fire Department.
Alfred W. Moore is preceded in death by his wife Sharon Ann Moore; his daughter Cheryl Lynn Biller; his brother Arthur L. Moore; his sisters Inez Elizabeth Valentine, Wvonne Louise Pfeifer, and Dallas Lucille Smith; and his grandson, Brenden Michael Wilson.
Alfred Moore is survived by his son, Alfred W. Moore, Jr.; daughter in law Vikki Michelle Wilson-Moore; son in law, Gary Biller; sister, Virginia Rose Allman; his grandchildren, Jason Biller, Bryan Biller, Kassie Biller, Daniel Moore, Brittni Wilson, Jacob Moore, Sean Moore, Bobby Mahon and Emma Mahon; his great grand children Kayla, Alyssa, Michael, Jaedynn, Austin, Nicholas, Chloe, Malorie and Hayden.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul United Methodist Church, Occoquan Woodbridge Lorton Volunteer Fire Department, and Hospice.
