Alfred Pete Todd Paras

May 18, 1937 – April 21, 2025

Alfred Pete Todd Paras, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, after facing his illness with strength and quiet dignity. Born on May 18, 1937, in Norfolk, Virginia, Alfred was the beloved son of Pete Tecson Paras and Mary Todd, both of whom preceded him in death.

Alfred was a devoted husband to his wife Elaine and a loving father to Cindy Dulicae, A. Pete Paras, Windy Paras, Shiela Couvion, and Denise Reedy. His legacy continues through 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Paras and is survived by his siblings Brenda Turnquist, Delores Gaukel, B. Gene Paras, Mary Brust, Jeanelle Hahn, and Herschel Paras.

Alfred was a steady and dependable man, known for his unwavering support of family and his deep appreciation for life's simple joys. He loved the outdoors-whether camping, fishing, boating, or tending lovingly to his home and property. He had a passion for motorcycle riding and cherished the sense of freedom it brought. He also enjoyed dancing, especially with those he loved, and shared a close bond with his little dogs, who were always nearby.

A hardworking and dedicated individual, Alfred was the proud owner of Paras Plastering, his own plastering and stucco company. Through many years of honest labor, he built a respected name for himself in the community. After retiring, he embraced a quieter life, filled with family, nature, and the comfort of a well-kept home.

Most importantly, Alfred was a sincere student of the Bible and held a deep love and faith in Jehovah. He lived by Bible principles, and his quiet strength reflected the hope found in Job 14:15: "You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands."

Although no memorial service is scheduled, his family will hold his memory close in their hearts. Alfred's life was a testament to his love for Jehovah, his family, and the simple joys that brought him peace. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
