Obituary
Alfred A. Pupo, Jr, 79, of Pocono Lake, Pennsylvania passed away on Oct 4, 2023 in Hospice at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre PA peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born on January 02, 1944 in NYC.
Al was a very successful Electrical Contractor in New Rochelle, NY for many years and later retired to the Poconos where he and his wife vacationed for years. He graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1961 and attended Westchester Community College as well as higher education for his electrical contracting license. Al was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was drafted in 1968 and served through 1969 with the 101st Airborne Division, The Screaming Eagles, who fought in several major battles and he received a Bronze Star. Al was a kind hearted person who always cared for others and was deeply loved by family and friends.
Al is predeceased by his wife, Helene D. Pupo; his son, Christopher Pupo; his brother, Robert Pupo, and his parents, Helen Elby Pupo and Alfred A. Pupo, Sr.
He is survived by his sister, Angela Pupo Gould of Boulder, CO and his brother Michael Pupo of New Rochelle.
A Celebration of Life will be held in New Rochelle, NY in March 2024.
