I felt so blessed when Alfred attended my son in laws funeral in Wilmington two years ago. It meant so much to me and my family. It was 1981 when we opened the Bloomingdales in King of Prussia and worked there together for 15 years. Even though we both went on to work other places, we remained life long friends. I will really miss him. He truly was a very kind and gentle and loving man! I know he is resting in the arms God.

It was so nice to be able to reconnect several years ago with my cousin,
Fred, on Facebook. I will miss reminiscing about our families. He was very sentimental and had a tremendous gift for recalling dates and details of family events decades in the past. I was a young teenager when he served in Vietnam and we corresponded several times via airmail while he was stationed there. He also took me to a party at the University of Pennsylvania in his brand new Mustang. My 16 year old self thought that was very cool. I know he is in Heaven now celebrating with his parents and brother, Joe. Rest in peace, Freddy.

Uncle Fred was my dad´s only sibling. We have shared holidays together for years. I still remember him taking me to see Jaws and Star Wars at the Plymouth Meeting Mall in the 1970´s. Rest in peace Uncle Fred.

Dear Rose and extended family,

I was so saddened to hear of Alfred´s untimely passing. I was looking so forward to driving up this spring from Montreal and meeting all of our American relatives. He and I discussed how lovely it would be to meet so many relatives. I shared stories of our beloved hometown of Ripabottoni where his grandfather was born. I will forever cherish our conversations, the many photos he shared, and the sweet memory of what a lovely person he was. Sending you all our most heartfelt condolences . May he watch over you from up above. Rest easy dear Alfred.

We were so sorry to hear of Freddie's passing. He came to our mother's funeral (Nicolina Riccillo Corey) and we met. Our whole family loved him and we kept in touch. May he rest in peace.
