Alfredo Fred Ramirez

Alfredo "Fred" Ramirez, age 77, of Silverton, passed away, Monday, December 14, 2015. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church in Silverton with Father Arturo Meza officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home. Fred was born September 19, 1938 to Luz and Andrea (Silva) Ramirez in Harlingen, Texas. He worked at Rhode Pipe for 20 years and farmed in the Silverton area afterwards. Fred was a good father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by one brother; Cresencio Ramirez, three sisters; Ofelia Andaverde, Jovita Ortiz and Hortencia Ramirez. He is survived by his wife; Mary Ramirez of the home, children; Palmira Ramirez of Fitch, TX, Letisia Stidham of Silverton, Adrian Ramirez and wife Katy of Amarillo, Diego Ramirez and wife Ilsa of Borger, TX, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, two sisters; Maria Garcia of Silverton, Luguitas Martinez of Houston, two brothers; Heraclio Ramirez of Silverton and Jose Ramirez of Quitaque.
