I will miss joking with Ali when I would come in he would always pretend he didn't see me and would talk to my husband as if he were alone, I told him once that I didn't have money to pay and he got an apron and said I could wash dishes he was a very kind man and I will miss seeing him .

To Dana and family. Just to let you know that mama and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family. Ali was more like a family member than a restaurant owner. He will certainly be missed. I always remember remember how he looked out for mama when we would come to eat. He knew she couldn't stand long so he would come get us and seat us at our favorite table behind him at the bar.
Lyman Cafe won't be the same. We are praying for you and we love you. A good friend Ali was. Love from my entire family.

Sending my condolences to you and your family...I will miss Ali rolling my turkey, dressing, & gravy out to my car this year for Thanksgiving...he was always very kind to me and I will definitely miss seeing him sitting in his favorite spot at the end of the counter's for the family and his Lyman Cafe family and friends as well.
