Alice M. Arkenburgh,
Age 81, of Bowerston, passed away peacefully at home with her loving grandson Eugene Arkenburgh III and Jessica, on Sat., Nov. 1, 2025. She was born Jan. 21, 1944, in Canton, a daughter of the late William and Sara (Starling) Rodgers. Alice was a 1962 graduate of Canton South High School and retired from Republic Steel as an Electrician.
Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Arkenburgh, Sr., her daughter, Lisa Arkenburgh, her son, William Arkenburgh, her great grandson, Levi Young, and her brothers Raymond and Joseph Rodgers.
Survived by her children, Eugene (Diana) Arkenburgh, Jr.; her grandchildren, Melisha (Larry) Williamson, Eugene (Jessica) Arkenburgh III, Annie (Aaron) Crouch, ShyAnn Arkenburgh, Brandon Young, and Savannah Young; 12 grandchildren, her siblings, Robert Rodgers, Richard Rodgers, Regina Rodgers, Doris Rodgers, and Marcella Toalston and her daughter-in-law, Martha Arkenburgh.
Services will be held Wed., Nov. 12, 2025, at 6pm in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alice's memory may be made to the family to help defray expenses. Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
