Adrian Michael Griffin ("Ace")
May 9, 1984 – October 8, 2025
Adrian Michael Griffin, affectionately known as "Ace," age 41, of Brewster, Ohio, passed away on October 8, 2025.
Born on May 9, 1984, in Canton, Ohio, Adrian was a proud graduate of Canton South High School, Class of 2005. He lived a grounded and quiet life filled with the things he loved most: sports, fishing, gaming, coaching youth sports, playing softball for CNC Tire, and spending time with his dog, Charlie. Above all, Adrian found his greatest joy in being a father to his son, Adrian Jr., lovingly known as "Bo" and "Little A."
Adrian was known for his loyalty, laid-back humor, and unwavering presence in the lives of those he cared about. Whether cheering on the Buckeyes or casting a line on a peaceful afternoon, he found happiness in life's simple moments. His bond with Adrian Jr. was the heart of his world, and his legacy lives on in the love and strength he poured into fatherhood.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Timothy Dean Sr. and Corbett Griffin; grandmothers, Joanne Harding and Elaine Swift; father, Laverne "Toad" Griffin; brother, Shawn Griffin; uncle, Timothy Dean Jr. (survived by Nancy); and second cousin, Donald Harding Jr.
Adrian is survived by his grandmother, Donna Dalton; mother, Kim Dalton (Pat); sister, Rachel Dalton; and his beloved son, Adrian Griffin Jr. He is also survived by his uncle, Michael Dean (Linda); aunt, Heather Dean; great-aunts, Terry Stever (late Rowland) and Sandy Rohl; great-uncles Mark Harding and Donald Harding; aunt, Gwen Brannan; Tom Gehring and son Skyler; Doug Gehring; Melanie Coffy; ex-wife Michelle Barr; and many more cousins and extended family members who will carry his memory forward.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor, with arrangements to be announced.
Adrian's legacy lives on in the quiet strength he embodied, the love he gave freely, and the son who carries his name and spirit forward.
