Dan Franklin Obituary
Dan C. Franklin, age 67, of Canton Township, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at his home, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 2, 1958, in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Sherman Lee and Sylvia Marie (Locke) Franklin.
Dan worked as a truck driver for PJ Fabrications and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Above all, he valued time spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lisa Franklin; son Jonathan Franklin Sr.; brothers, Jon Franklin, Sherman Franklin Jr., and sister, Rose Kisner.
Cherishing his memory are his daughters, Elyse (Matthew) Jergens and Rebecca Taggart; son, David Franklin; brother, Mark (Mary) Franklin; along with his grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Dan’s wishes, there will be no public services, and a cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Dan’s memory.
Arrangements are entrusted to Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave S., Canton, Ohio 44707. Family and friends may offer condolences and share memories at:
