Esther Marie Miller, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Inn at University Village. She was born on March 12, 1934, in Beallsville, Ohio, to the late Herman and Bessie (Shriver) Truex. Esther was a devoted lifelong member of the Northwest Church of Christ.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard E. Miller Jr. on February 6th, 2024, and six siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Eugene (Ruth) Miller; daughter, Linda (Ed) Miller; daughter, Janice (Cliff) Cooper; daughter, Donna (Tom) Hensley; several grand- and great-grandchildren, special friend and caregiver, Ellen Myers; beloved cat, Eli.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stark County Humane Society or to a charity of your choice in memory of Esther. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens alongside her husband.
