Age 74, of North Canton, passed away Sun., Oct. 5, 2025. He was born Sept. 19, 1951, in Kalamazoo, MI, a son of the late James and Marie (Dewitt) Allen. Bill was a 1969 graduate of Central Catholic High School and a 1973 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton and retired as the C.F.O. of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Allen. Survived by two sons, Ryon (Christopher) Allen, and Michael Allen, and one granddaughter, Cecilia Allen. Services will be held Tues., Oct. 21, 2025 at 1pm in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. Interment in Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before the service, from 11am-1pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to Central Catholic High School, 4824 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44708. Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
