Paul Norbert Brahler age 80 of Louisville passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. He was born January 1, 1943, the third child of the late Norbert and Orrilla (Kress) Brahler. Paul was a 1961 graduate of (Canton) Central Catholic High School. Paul was a faithful worshipper of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and active in multiple church functions. He was a third-degree Knight of Columbus and dedicated defender of the faith. Paul worked as a machinist at Canton Drop Forge for approximately 40 years, retiring in 2008.
Paul is survived by his son, Todd Brahler and daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Pizor); several siblings and their spouses, Esther (Brahler) Martin, Eleanor Brahler, Marion and Delores (Lovaty) Brahler, Edna (Brahler) Gottsman, Evelyn (Brahler) and Mike Adams, Ann (Brahler) and Mike Haines, and Dale Brahler.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Judith (Shingary); brothers, Karl Brahler and Eugene Brahler; and brothers-in-law, Carl Martin and Floyd Gottsman.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 18 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg, OH. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Sacred Heart, the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph Skilled Nursing Facility, or any other Catholic charity of choice.
