Dale Mottice, age 88, of Canton, Ohio passed peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born March 29th, 1937, to parents Howard and Etta Mottice. He graduated from Canton South High School and lived in the area his whole life. He worked at the Canton Repository for over 42 years as a newspaper pressman.
Upon retiring, Dale enjoyed his many hobbies, including stained glass-making, carving, and painting, to name a few. He loved creating original pieces from items that he found in nature.
Dale will be missed by his wife, Judy; son, Brian (Anna); grandchildren, Bryan, Megan (Tyler); in-laws, Jan, Russ, Jay, Jenny; nieces and nephews; and many friends who loved him very much. To know him is to love him. He will be especially missed by his faithful companion, Ada, his German Shepherd.
There will be no calling hours. At his request, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, so check back here for updates. Bring your stories (I’m sure you all have at least one) and let’s celebrate his life together.
