Roy J Daniels

Roy J. Daniels, age 90, of Canton passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025. He was born in Clio, Alabama on April 20, 1935 and was the third of six children born to Aaron T. Daniels and Ino Mary (Eutsey) Daniels. Roy married Betty Jane (Pullin) Daniels on December 30, 1955 and they celebrated over 69 years of marriage. Roy graduated from Waynesburg School in 1954 and was on the basketball team. He was employed at The Timken Company as a supervisor and retired after 30 years of service. Roy was an avid sports fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Guardians (Indians) and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Roy enjoyed airplanes and watching the Blue Angels. He was a veteran and honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in March 1963. He enjoyed traveling and nice cars. He will be greatly missed.
Roy was preceded in death by his father, Aaron T. Daniels and mother, Ino Mary (Eutsey) Daniels; sister, Mary Lee Daniels; brothers, James (JT) Daniels, Namon R. Daniels, James Edward Daniels and Charles Daniels; son-in-law, Mark White; grandchildren, Mychal Armstead and Leonard White.
He leaves to cherish in memory his loving wife, Betty Jane (Pullin) Daniels; son, Dwain Daniels; daughters, Marshel White, Rhonda (Randall) Winn and Candela Armstead; grandchildren, Maurice Daniels, Zynora (Keenan) Hughes, Tamra Greathouse, Marvin Descott, Lauren Woodson, Clarice Gholston, Cierra Daniels, Kierra Daniels, Raquel (Tyler) Williams, Raeven Winn and Christian Armstead; great-grandchildren, Dorell Daniels-Vaught, Kristopher Daniels, Caniya Richardson, Markell Daniels, Zachariah Simms, Caleb Deubner, Lorenzo White and Lavelle White; great-great grandchild, Kristopher Daniels, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 24, 2025 at 12noon at Reed Funeral Home CANTON Chapel. There will be one hour of calling hours prior to services on Friday from 11am to 12noon. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
