Alice Louise Beaty, 91, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. She was born on December 7, 1933, in Walker, Missouri, to Clarence and Phebe (Dally) Foreman.
Alice graduated from Walker High School in May 1951 and married Joe Lee Beaty on October 31, 1952. Together they had four children: Jackie, Debbie, Donna, and Linda.
After graduation, Alice began her working career at Raz Motors in Nevada, Missouri. In 1953 she and Joe Lee moved to El Dorado Springs, and she worked at the Chevrolet garage and later spent 20 years at Dunbrook Sportswear. Throughout their marriage, Alice worked alongside Joe Lee on their two farms.
Alice loved spending time with her family, tending her garden, and creating beautiful quilts. She delighted in feeding and watching the birds, making Christmas candies-especially her beloved pecan brittle-and gathering pecans from the farm where she and Joe Lee had planted trees years earlier. These traditions and pastimes reflected her generous spirit and her gift for creating warmth and happiness for those around her.
She is survived by her children: Jackie Beaty and his wife Beverly of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; Debbie Peery of Osceola, Missouri; and Linda Bastian and her husband Jim of Loma Linda, Missouri. Alice also leaves behind five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as her brother Charles Foreman of Walker, Missouri; brother-in-law Frank Haynes of Nevada, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Lee Beaty; her daughter Donna Ann; son-in-law Chuck Peery; brother Russell Lee Foreman; sister Dora Jane Haynes; and sisters-in-law Juanita Foreman and Neoma Foreman.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Gentiva Hospice of Carthage, Missouri, for the exceptional care and love they provided to Alice. A special thanks to Terrelyn, Whitney, Sammie, and Ashley-Mom loved you girls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, Carthage, Missouri.
