Alice Bisson, AKA Nana, the baker of cookies, doll fanatic, doggy treat dealer, and life of the party, died peacefully with her children by her side on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the age of 79. Alice, had 5 siblings, and was born to her parents Margret and Eph Snyder, in New York. After graduating high school she went on to work at Wilson 's Jewelry. In the early 70's she met the love of her life, Claude. They married and had 2 kids giving Alice a new career as "commander in chief of the home". After her children got older, she returned to work at Egon Ehrlinspiel's, until she decided to retire at 50. Once retirement hit she kept a busy life, but no matter what she was doing she always made time for her kids' and grandkids. Her lifelong hobbies included shopping, watching soap operas, needle point, collecting Annalee dolls that multiplied when they shared the same bag, and speeding. (Yep she liked to drive fast & no you couldn't drive her car!! This included, Claude.) For all of Alice's success in life, her crowning achievement was being a Nana and spoiling her grandchildren. As Nana's do she sprinkled stardust over their lives showering them with love. She was convinced her grandchildren could do no wrong and were perfect. Her love for them was unmatched. Everything she did, she did for her kids and grandkids.

Left to cherish her memory are her two kids Frank (Jennifer) Bisson and Chantelle (Jimmy) Turner, along with her 8 grandchildren Kyle T, Tyler T, Kyle, Christian, Ella, Peyton, Preston, and Ava. Alice also is survived by her sister Peggy and beloved mother-in-law Claire. She also had many adoring brother/sister in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Alice was predeceased by her husband of 53 years; Claude (who greeted her with smile, and said "babes what took you so long"), her parents, siblings Dick, Bobby, Joan, Nancy and her nephew Kevin.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do something nice for somebody else unexpectedly, and without explanation. Also, hug your mother and make sure she knows how much you love her.

We love you mom and are eternally grateful for your love.

Services will be held on Thursday September 11th at 10am at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 127 Chapel Dr, Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest with her husband at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Syracuse at 11am.
