Alice Frazier Burchette

Alice Frazier Burchette, 84, passed away on July 22, 2024 at her home in Franklinton. She was born on October 1, 1939 to the late Iva and Annie Hale Frazier. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceeded in death by her husband, James Franklin Burchette and her brother, Jerry Frazier.
Alice is survived by her daughters, Donna Greear, Susan McKain (Tedd), and Jamie Burchette; her sons, Ronald and Donald Barefield; her grandchildren, Logan Rice (David), Kara Bishop, and Peyton Greear; her four great-grandchildren, Ainsley Bishop, Sawyer Bishop, Adaline Rice, and Coleman Rice; her sister, Jane Applegate (Roger); and her sister-in-law, Jackie Frazier.
Alice was a retired nurse, and her care for others extended far beyond work; she was a care taker for many family members and friends. She loved cooking and feeding her family. Alice loved the Lord and was always involved in church life as well as many other organizations, including the orphanage in Oxford.
The family will receive friends at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Unity Baptist Church, 6348 State Hwy 96, Youngsville, NC 27596, where a celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm.
