Roger Leroy Eiler, 78, of Louisburg passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 surrounded by his family at his home. He was born on September 8, 1946 to the late John Eiler and Velva Brown Eiler in Christian County, IL.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his son, Bradley C. Eiler; and his granddaughter, Emily J. Hunt.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth Eiler; his son Bryan Eiler (Sheila West); his daughter, Bethany Hunt (Terry); grandchildren, Bryan Eiler Jr., Peyton Eiler, Mackenzie Eiler, Alexander Eiler, Aiden Eiler, Aylene Eiler, Sarah Mehaffey (Cale), Samantha Hunt and Jorden Lawson (Ashley); and five great-grandchildren.

Roger proudly served for 20 years with the United States Navy. He was married to the love of his life Elizabeth Eiler for 60 years. Roger was loving, kind and sentimental. He enjoyed baseball, especially the Tampa Bay Rays, and watching Hallmark movies. Roger loved God and was always a faithful Christian. One of his favorite things to do was driving around. He loved to find back roads and take long scenic drives.

His love for cars and driving was also fulfilled when he worked as a rental car driver at the airport. Roger loved his family dearly and will be missed tremendously.

At this time, no services have been scheduled.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services of Louisburg.
