Alice M. Chin

Alice M. Chin, 95, entered into eternal rest on September 20, 2025 peacefully with her family at her side. Alice was born on May 3,1930 in St. Catherine, Jamaica, West Indies.
Alice leaves to cherish her loving memories her son, Erol A. Hylton, her granddaughter, Arva C. Hylton, two great grandchildren, Dez'aray C. Hylton and Raymar S. Kendrick Jr., two great-great grandchildren, Ah'Raya and McKenzie, her loving sister, Millicent (Sonia, Dawn, Philip) of Canada, her brother, Vincent of Jamaica, her niece, Kayleigh of England, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends. Alice is predeceased by her loving daughter, Joan, and her two brothers, Edgerton and Edward.
Alice lived a life filled with joy, strength, and wisdom. Her purpose was always shining the light of love within her family and those she encountered She was deeply rooted in the Lord with worship and praise from her early childhood. She enjoyed her worship no matter what circumstances occurred. Her spirit was always noticed.
Alice loved, her bond was unbreakable, she was resilient, and devoted to her family, she gave her all in everything she did. Her care was always above and beyond, she was a pillar of strength, warmth wisdom, and integrity.
Alice memories will always live through us withe love, joy, happiness, wisdom, hope, strength, and guidance. We will keep all of this alive for our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend but most of all, our Matriarch.
Visitation hours will take place on Friday, October 17th from 9am to 10am at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Prayer Service will be held 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, 23 Camp Avenue, Darien, CT.
