Alice Marie LeClaire Duke, age 81, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at her home in Ocean Springs, MS, surrounded by her family.

She was born June 13, 1944, in St. Charles, MO, to the late Paul A. LeClaire, Sr., and Anna M. Stenger LeClaire. Alice was raised in St. Charles and on December 1, 1966, she married James Leslie Duke. They moved to Ocean Springs, MS in 1972 and would make their forever home there. James preceded her in death on November 12, 2005. For a number of years Alice was a retail associate with first K-Mart and later Walmart until she retired.

Surviving are her children, Darrin (Belinda) Manning and Danny (Heather) Duke both of Ocean Springs, MS, Bonnie (Mike) St. Arnaud of Ponchatoula, LA and Donald (Katie) Duke of Jeanerette, LA; also, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John J. Duke; her daughter, Regina Ann Duke, her grandson, Casper L. Duke, her granddaughter Kristen Claire Duke, her brothers, Paul "Bud" LeClaire, Jr., Harold LeClaire, Eugene LeClaire, Robert "Bob" LeClaire, Elroy "Lee" LeClaire and sister Mary Ann Jones.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Dogwood United Methodist Church, Highway B, Dogwood, MO. Keith Cook will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston, MO.
