Alice Freeze Obituary
Alice was born in Charleston, West Virginia to her parents Ballard and Risby Moore. She lived a life full of love, devotion, and quiet joys. She found happiness in life's simple comforts, sitting outside in the sunshine, enjoying visits with Kelly at the hair salon, nights out with her best friend Roberta, and savoring an ice-cold Coca-Cola. Her gentle spirit, warm presence, and endless love for her family will be carried in the hearts of all who knew her and she will be dearly missed.
Alice is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years Vernon Freeze, and her grandson whom she raised, Christopher "Critter" Freeze who was her shadow, her sidekick, and one of her greatest joys.
She is survived by her two children, Nedra Freeze and Chris Freeze. Her grandchildren Jeremy Freeze Bush, Taylor Freeze, Alisha Lewis, Baylnn Baker, and Candra Baker. Her great-grandchildren Lexie, Isaac, Mariah, Kori, Kinley, Kylee, Karris, Caydence, Lucious, and Remington.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
