Colene Ogles

Colene Ogles, age 94, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on December 7, 2025. Born on February 10, 1931, in Beech Grove, TN, she was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Gracie Ogles. A lifelong resident of Manchester, Colene lived a life centered on faith, family, and fellowship. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her dearly loved cousins Mary Calorio, Phyllis Freeze, and Charles Freeze. Colene is survived by her special cousins Joyce Trail, Bonnie Cardwell, Betty Reed, and Eunice Harmon; and by cherished friends Chris Hunt, Judy Lineberger, and Charlotte Philpott. Colene loved traveling and treasured the many trips she took with her family and friends. A devoted member of Red Hill Church of Christ, she lived her faith every day through kindness, loyalty, and generosity. She was an enthusiastic supporter of Tennessee sports, especially University of Tennessee basketball. Go Vols! Family was Colene's greatest joy. She adored her parents and cared for them with unwavering devotion in their later years. She was talented and creative, once crafting a beautiful quilt her mother teasingly called her "only masterpiece." Strong-willed, determined, and full of heart, Colene was a loyal friend and a constant source of love to those fortunate enough to know her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Manchester Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, burial will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
