Alice Coffey Glenn, age 85, of Spruce Pine went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Born on July 4, 1940 in Avery County, she was the daughter of the late Ira Coffey and Gladys Cook Coffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly sixty-two years, Bob Glenn, and her siblings Wilma, Welda, Doug, Hunley, Boyd.

Alice was a devoted Christian, mother, grandmother and great grandmother She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church where she served as choir director for many years.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Andy Glenn and wife, Jelinda, Vance Glenn and wife, Claire, Amanda Yelton and Boyd Glenn and wife, Melinda, her grandchildren; Allison Rowe and husband, Chris, Blake Glenn and wife, Bethany, Ashley Fox and husband, Tim, Savannah Miller and husband, Caleb, Christen Glenn, Peyton Greene, Sierra Bryant and husband, Stephen, Jacob Yelton and fiancé, Ninevah, Jessica Dunn and husband, Hunter, Malorie Glenn, and Ayden Glenn, hier great grandchildren; Kaylee, Mason, Charlee, and Oaklee Rowe, Asher, Lola, Uriah, and Zeb Glenn, Eloise and Lanie Fox, Holden, Tristan, Charlie, Rourie, Walter and Ann-Leigh Miller, Matanna Yelton, Gabby Bryant, Brent Yelton.

The funeral service for Alice Glenn will be on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 2:30 pm at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church with the Rev's. Blake Glenn and David Philbeck officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, September 12, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
