Kenneth W. "Ken" Glenn, age 84, a resident of Monarch Landing in Naperville, IL since 2008, formerly of Elmwood Park, Hinsdale and Carillon in Plainfield, IL, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 5, 1941, in Chicago, IL to William and Laverne (née Smith) Glenn.

Ken is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Millie M. Glenn (née Belcher), his brother, David (Christine) Glenn of Willowbrook, IL, his sisters-in-law, Doris (Pete) Hernandez, Leta "Kay" (Richard) Olsen and Reba "Sue" (the late Melvin) Taylor, and countless nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Laverne Glenn, his brother, Richard (the late Francine) Glenn and sister-in-law, Georgie (the late William "Bill") Freeman.

Ken was raised in Elmwood Park, IL with his two brothers, Richard "Dick" and David "Dave," was a 1959 graduate of Elmwood Park High School and attended the Washburne Trade School in Chicago.

Ken married his soulmate, Millie, on May 24, 1975, after a whirlwind six-month courtship. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends.

Ken was employed as a custom engineer for 50 years by Elkay Manufacturing Company, a family owned American manufacturer of stainless steel sinks, faucets, drinking fountains, bottle fillers and branded commercial interiors founded by Ken's great-grandfather, Leopold Katz. He was known for his dedication and craftsmanship, passing down his most precious pieces to his brother Dave, and nephews Marcus and Daniel.

Ken and Millie traveled the world together, visiting numerous countries and partying on over 48 lifetime cruises with their favorite travel companions - their family. Ken loved living life with the people he cared for most and brought joy and laughter to every gathering. He was an avid car owner, relishing in all the bells and whistles of each of the 40 cars he owned throughout the years. Ken also loved wearing his Rolex watch and fancy polo shirts while sipping his favorite Scotch.

In his later years, he continued to travel and spend time with his growing family, who all cherished him and his company. He also enjoyed his close-knit community at Monarch Landing and all his happy hours spent there. His bright blue eyes and warm chuckle will always be remembered by all who loved him.

A private celebration of Ken's life is being planned for a future date.
